News :

What we have been doing this Summer!

We have been so busy pickin' this Spring and Summer I've barely had time to update this here ole website! haha! Our Summer started out in St Augustine FL at the Ponte Vedra Music Hall for a 2 night stint opening for Tommy Emmanuel!! It was amazing!! I even got to play one with him! It was too much fun, Tommy is such a wonderful human being and incredible hard working musician and performer. We were all ridiculously honored and inspired the whole trip!

The second year for us of Grass in Hall was such a fun and beautiful evening playing music with our good friends for Piccolo Spoleto! We couldn't have had a better time. Thank you Sean Money+ Elizabeth Fay Goulden for the awesome shots of us!!

And the most recent adventure of opening up for the one and only Robert Earl Keen to a sold out crowd at the Charleston Music Hall was the best night ever. We even signed some guys boots! Haha!
Just wanted to keep y'all up to speed here since we are in the process of finding our new residency weekly gig since the Southerly closed!  We are going into Truphonic studios tomorrow to record a brand new song and have been working in our home studio over the summer recording as well!
Keep and eye and an ear out for us!
                  So much love!!!!

In case you were wondering...

This is what we've been up to lately!
Here is a link to some video from our showcase at the Charleston Music Hall's Grass in the Hall series put on by our friend Eddie White (from Awendaw Green) earlier this month!

It was such a great night!  And thanks to our friend (and most amazing drummer) Stuart White for shooting this video for us!!

Also this past week we had the honor of playing the benefit show at the Charleston Pourhouse "Don't tell this town aint got no heart" for the Mother Emmanuel Church shooting fund. They sold out all 800 tickets for the event in under 3 hours and all the proceeds, including bar tips (over $30,000) went straight to the church! It was a beautiful night and it felt so good to be doing something to help out and to come together with our loving community of artists and musicians.

We are excited about the work we've been doing and hope to be on to more great shows this coming year! Much love!

Checkin in!!

Hey y'all!
Just checkin in to let ya know there are some new dates on the Calendar, a new logo we love, some new live video up and a lot more new and exciting things coming up this year from the Lowhills!!
Hope to see all y'all out there! Much love!

This Thursday September the 11th!

Matt and I will be playing at Momma Goldbergs in Mt Pleasant (on 17 across from Whole Foods) with our special guest and friend Susan Curry of the Sweetgrass Revival on the fiddle!! If you haven't heard her already she's like a mini Miranda Lambert that plays a mean fiddle! We will be playing from 7:30 to 10:30 out on their sweet little patio! Come check it out y'all!
Much love,
